This week has been quite eventful! Luckily for us here in Munich, the weather has been a bit nicer than last week, which gets us more in a summer mood. We could do with higher temperatures though, but not having constant rain is already a great improvement. I feel like I can finally say: Summer has officially arrived! #joy

Summer always makes me think of citrus tastes and smells. To me there is nothing more refreshing than water with lemon, or in other occasions, a nice Aperol spritz with some oranges. Keeping with this theme, this week I picked up this new shower gel and I’m obsessed. It has a non-stripping gentle formula made from sugar and coconut fruit pulp with sesame seed oil to moisturize and prevent dryness. Not that I have ever smelled Sea Buckthorn in its natural state, but to me this totally smells like mandarins and I love it. This reminds me of Mandarine Spritz…love those too!

When we think of summer, the idea of relaxing at the beach always come to mind (my mind at least) but sometimes finding time for relaxation can also be a bit stressful. Here are some tips on how to have a carefree summer this year. One of my personal favorites for relaxing moments during warmers days is spritzing rose water on my face, specially after a workout. It’s literally like a breath of fresh air!

And if all you can do is unwind after a day at work, what better way to do so than on your garden, porch or balcony having some chocolate mint ice-cream? When they are healthy, even better…sign me up! I’m looking forward to trying this recipe. I always make homemade pops in something similar to these and love them.

If you are in Munich this Saturday, come by the Glockenbach Flohmarkt (if the weather cooperates). We will be selling some stuff we don’t need anymore, plus some healthy treats (brownies, anyone?) and green smoothies. Come make a toast to your health with us if you fancy. Have a great weekend!
