Oktoberfest Strong: How to Get your Arms Ready for Beer Drinking

Hi all!

As you know from our previous posts, Oktoberfest has already started. For 2 weeks our city will be filled with people from all over the world, who are all here to have fun and drink beer of course. Some days ago I was talking to a friend about the super strong waitresses who work in the tents and how they are able to carry lots of beers, all day long. If you consider that each Mass (a 1L beer mug, filled ) has about 2.3 kg each, this woman has over 25 kilos in her hands. Not bad at all!! Of course they are very well paid, sometimes even earning 10,000€ in just a couple of weeks. Nonetheless, it is a very hard job and one needs a lot of strength to do it, especially on the biceps and shoulders.

So today I would like to propose some moves to increase your arm strength and to get you ready to hold a (or a few) Mass at the Oktoberfest, if you happen to go there. All you need is a pair of dumbbells and a Dirndl. Well, maybe you can leave your Dirndl for the partying and use gym clothes to workout. You decide! 🙂
