Sunset Yoga: The Best Way to Unwind After a Busy Day

Happy Tuesday dear friends!

As you probably already know, yoga is not only a great way to keep in shape, but also a way to calm and relax your body. Yoga definitely does the mind AND body good! I personally started practicing yoga only after I started dating Carol. She has been doing yoga since forever and once I started practicing with her, I got hooked! I love doing yoga after a busy day. Carol prefers to practice first thing in the morning. 

Last week, after a busy day of sight seeing in Santorini, we decided to unwind by doing some yoga on the rooftop of our hotel, while watching the sunset. Magical is an understatement to describe that moment. Not only does Santorini have the most beautiful sunsets I have ever seen, but doing yoga and having that sunset in front of us was truly amazing.

I’d like to point out that I’m not a yoga instructor, so today I’m just sharing the yoga poses I like to do in the evenings to relax. I won’t get into details about all the poses and how you should do them, but if you like you can check out the links below.
