What Is Train Hard, Live Clean?

Train Hard, Live Clean is a space for active healthy living.

We share training advice, fitness tips and clean recipes for those looking to incorporate a healthy lifestyle to their daily routine. While we aren’t a vegan or gluten free blog, many of the recipes are special diet-friendly. Our focus is being active daily and nourishing our bodies with real food.

 

Who We Are

 We’re Tore and Carol, newlyweds based in Munich, Germany . We share a love for all things fitness on top of the love we have for each other and strive to be the best, healthiest version of ourselves! However, we don’t believe in diets, nor do we believe in radical programs that promise a “bikini-ready body“ in 28 days. We believe that balance is the best practice in the long run and tend to follow the 80/20 rule: 80% clean and 20% fun, which isn’t about cheat meal feasts, rather than finding a little wiggle room for a steak (for Tore) or for some chocolate (for Carol).

Tore is a certified personal trainer with a Master’s degree in Sport Therapy and Rehabilitation and creates all the training programs and fitness-related content presented in this blog. If you live in the Munich area and are looking for a trainer, he’s your guy! Just send us an e-mail and we can set-up a meeting at the earliest date possible.

Carol is an engineer and has always had a great passion for cooking and baking. She develops the recipes, takes the photos and manages the technical side of the site.

We make a pretty good team.

Together we created Train Hard, Live Clean as a space dedicated to effective training and simple, delicious recipes because we ourselves love to keep active and fuel our bodies with the best nutrients.

This is an approach to health we not only believe in but also live out daily. And we hope you find it as engaging as we do.
